A range of ornate bench seat tops decorated with an egg and dart design with a leaf motif to each corner. Designed specifically for use with the D405 Chimera Seat Support, they may also be used with the D400 Support.
The Chimera Seat Support is an exquisite design in the form of a Chimera - the classical mythological beast that breathes fire, has the head, mane and legs of a lion, tail of a dragon, goat's body and wings of an eagle. This popular motif of XVIII century neoclassicism provides the perfect support for an Egg and Dart Seat Top. It may also be used with Haddonstone's standard curved and straight seat tops.

IMPORTANT INSTALLATION DETAILS
It is essential that your Haddonstone seat or table is sited on a firm and level area. Although the top is reinforced, it may crack if subjected to a pivoting or twisting strain. An 8 to 1 sand/cement bedding mortar must be used to ensure that each support bears an equal weight. The properties of this mixture give a secure hold that can be broken without difficulty if the seat has to be re-sited. We cannot accept responsibility for breakage if this instruction is ignored.
